Why choose an incinerating toilet?
Are you interested in how an incinerating toilet safely turns waste into ash? Discover the technology behind Separett’s incinerating toilets – a high incineration temperature combined with efficient ventilation ensures an odour-free, hygienic and effortless toilet solution without water or sewage.
How do incinerating toilets work?
Simply put, an incinerating toilet works like a regular oven, but at much higher temperatures. Once the toilet has been used and the incineration programme is started, the chamber begins heating up towards 550°C. Liquid waste evaporates, while solid waste is burned into fine ash.
Benefits of an incinerating toilet
An incinerating toilet is a modern and carefree toilet solution. It offers a clean, hygienic and easy-to-use alternative to traditional dry toilets, both for cabins and year-round use. If you value minimal waste handling, an incinerating toilet is an excellent choice.
Separett Nova
Separett Nova is our latest incinerating toilet. This stylish toilet is equipped with automatic flushing and an elegant design. After use, all you need to do is select the small or large incineration programme, and the toilet does the rest.
Separett Family II
The familiar Family toilet has been upgraded to the next level. Unlike Nova, this toilet has a manual drop mechanism that allows you to drop the waste into the combustion chamber before selecting the programme. The new Family II toilet features improved energy consumption, an improved catalyst and a more modern, user-friendly display.
Installation of an incinerating toilet
Installing an incinerating toilet requires an exhaust pipe, replacement air and electricity in order to function. It is important to carry out the installation exactly according to the instructions, so that the incineration result is only ash and the toilet is not damaged.
