Regular service for Separett incinerating toilets
Incinerating toilets require regular servicing in order to function correctly and optimally. The recommended service interval is every 1,000 heating element hours or every 5 years.
The price of seasonal service (recommended price 3945 SEK) may vary. Only replacement of the heating element is included in the price of the seasonal service. Replacement of other parts is charged separately according to the spare parts price list and hourly rate. You can read the service terms by clicking here.
Booking seasonal service
Seasonal service is booked by contacting the service location directly. You can find all service locations on the retailer map by using the tag “Authorised service”.
What is included in seasonal service
- Replacement of the heating element
- Cleaning/inspection of the temperature sensor
- Cleaning/inspection of the catalyst
- Cleaning of the smoke pipe
- Inspection of the fan
- Inspection of the ash pan insulation
- General inspection of the toilet and inspection of cables and connectors
- Inspection of the drop hatches. Cleaning and adjustment if necessary.
- Updating the control board to the latest software version, if possible
- Resetting the service reminder
- A test incineration is carried out to ensure that the toilet is functioning correctly
The toilet is test run to ensure that incineration works correctly. Only replacement of the heating element is included in the price of the seasonal service. Replacement of other parts is charged separately according to the spare parts price list and hourly rate. You will be contacted if any other service measures are required.
NOTE: For the working environment of the service technicians, it is important that the ash pan is emptied of ash and that any loose dirt is wiped away before the appliance is delivered to the service location. The toilet must be submitted for service together with the ash pan so that the test incineration gives the correct result. A cleaning fee of 1000 SEK will be charged for emptying an ash pan that has not been emptied.
