Separett Nova II is our latest incinerating toilet, developed to offer maximum comfort and ease of use. The toilet is manufactured in Sweden and combines sleek design with advanced technology, making it an excellent choice for both permanent homes and holiday houses. Thanks to its closed air system, Nova II draws the air required for the combustion process directly from outside. This means the toilet does not use room air, preventing the indoor air from cooling down in winter or warming up in summer due to the airflow required by the toilet. The advanced software controls the operation and informs the user if any actions are required, making Nova II a very easy-to-maintain toilet. With a soft-closing lid and elegant design, the toilet blends naturally into many different environments. Nova works like any other toilet – the user can choose between a small or large “flush,” providing a simple and familiar user experience. Separett Nova II is both a durable and practical choice. It comes with a 5-year warranty* and requires minimal maintenance. After the combustion process, only a small amount of ash remains, making it an effective alternative. Wear parts are covered by a limited warranty.

Design and technology
Separett Nova II combines stylish design with advanced technology, offering a comfortable and functional toilet experience. The new-generation Nova II has been developed especially for year-round use, where airflow control is important.
Nova II operates with a closed air circulation system. This means that the toilet takes the replacement air needed for the incineration process directly from outside and does not use indoor air. This solution prevents the indoor air from cooling down in winter and heating up in summer, making the toilet particularly suitable for year-round living. Thanks to the closed air circulation system, Nova II can also be installed in spaces with mechanical ventilation.
The toilet is designed to handle 4–6 uses per hour and up to 40 uses per day.
Intelligent incineration technology automatically adjusts the incineration time according to the amount of liquid and ensures that only clean ash remains. When the incineration programme is complete, the toilet cools down and switches off automatically, enabling effortless and almost maintenance-free use.
Thanks to advanced software, Nova II manages its operation independently. It monitors the status of the system and notifies you in good time if any action is required, so you can focus on other things.
Features
Separett Nova II offers a comfortable and modern toilet experience. The toilet seat is fitted with a soft-close function and the “flush” is electrically operated. By pressing one incineration button, the waste automatically drops into the combustion chamber and the incineration programme starts. If needed, the hatch can also be opened manually by holding down the OK button.
The informative and easy-to-use display allows the user to control settings such as language and incineration time. The display also indicates when the ash pan needs to be emptied or when service is required, making the toilet easy to use and maintain.
Optimised airflow together with the integrated catalyst ensures that the space remains odour-free during and after incineration.
Energy consumption
Nova II is designed to be energy-efficient without compromising performance. Optimised airflow reduces energy consumption and supports sustainable use. One use consumes only approximately 1.8–2.0 kWh of electricity, and the toilet runs on 230 V, making it both efficient and economical.
In standby mode, energy consumption is approximately 0.4 kWh per day. The fan runs continuously, ensuring good ventilation and odour-free use with minimal energy consumption.
Areas of use
Separett Nova II is an innovative solution for places without a traditional sewer network, or where you want to save water. It is suitable for both holiday homes and permanent living, offering a hygienic toilet solution without a water or sewage connection.
Thanks to the closed air circulation system, Nova II also works excellently in modern buildings with mechanical ventilation and carefully controlled indoor air.
An effective and sustainable toilet solution
Incinerating toilets are becoming increasingly popular, especially in Nordic holiday homes, as they offer an effective and easy-to-use alternative to traditional toilet solutions.
Separett Nova II makes the sustainable choice easy. It reduces water consumption and simplifies waste handling without the need for a water connection or sewage system. After the incineration process, only a small amount of ash remains, which is easy to empty.
Choose Separett Nova II when you want a modern, reliable and effective toilet solution.

Installation Instructions
Always follow our instructions and recommendations when installing your incinerating toilet.

Handling of the Waste
Dispose of the cooled ash with household waste or spread it on non-edible plants in the garden.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance
General cleaning
Wipe the inside and outside of the toilet with a non-abrasive cleaning agent, as abrasive products may cause scratches. For best results, use a slightly damp or well-wrung cloth with a small amount of all-purpose cleaner. Do not rinse the toilet with water, either on the outside or inside. This may damage the combustion chamber or control panel.
Emptying the ash pan
The toilet automatically reminds you to empty the ash pan, usually after approximately 50 uses. When it is time, follow these instructions:
- Pull the front hatch down towards the floor, and then towards you.
- Pull out the ash pan.
- Empty the ash into a flower bed or household waste. The ash is completely bacteria-free.
- Push the ash pan back into place.
- Put the front hatch back into place by pressing it down towards the floor while pushing it in.
Once you have completed these steps, the toilet is ready to use again.
Cleaning the ash pan
The ash pan should be cleaned every four emptying intervals, and a notification will also appear on the display. Cleaning is necessary to remove the crystals that form when urine evaporates during incineration, while the steam also cleans the inside of the toilet. Do the following:
- Empty the ash pan.
- Pour 1 litre of water into the ash pan.
- Place the ash pan back into position.
- Start a large incineration programme.
