Separett Weekend Prime is the ideal solution for anyone who needs a toilet for occasional use or wants to live completely off-grid. It is based on the robust construction of the Separett Tiny model, but this simplified version has had all electrical components, the ventilation system, and additional features removed. The result is an easy-to-use, fully manual solution. Weekend Prime is available only with an internal urine container.
Designed especially for weekend and occasional use, Weekend Prime reliably separates liquids and solid waste while providing a sanitation solution completely without electricity or ventilation. Unlike the Separett Tiny, this model features a fixed upper section with no moving parts, while still maintaining a sleek and compact design.
We recommend using bulking material in the waste container, as the Weekend Prime model does not include a fan.

Installation Instructions
Installation Instructions
Toilet placement
Separett Weekend Prime no requirements for room temperature and works in both cold and warm spaces.
The toilet can be moved around, but if it's used permanently in one place, it's recommended toplace it on the floor against a wall, and for extra stability the toilet be attached either screwed down to the floor, the wall or both.
Use of an external ventilation system
Separett Weekend Prime doesn't have an internal fan but can be connected to a ventilation duct with an external fan. You’ll need to buy a suitable gasket, remove the plug from the back left corner of the toilet and connect the toilet to a suitable ventilation duct such as Separett Flexible Ventilation Hose.
It's very important to remember to use an insect net and a ventilation cap at the end of the ventilation duct to prevent rain, snow, debris, insects, birds and rodents from entering the toilet.
Handling of the Solid Waste
Handling of the Solid Waste
Many people dispose of toilet waste the same way they would dispose of diapers, but it’s also possible to compost it into nutrient-rich compost.
Keep in mind that the waste is not composted when you empty the bucket. Human waste should be composted for at least 6 months, preferably 12 months, to ensure pathogens are eliminated. Mixing garden waste, kitchen scraps, and toilet waste helps speed up the process and improve the result. A good rule of thumb is to plan for at least 30 gallons (110 liters) per user, using two containers so one can rest while the other is in use.
Always use a sealed bin or a container with a collection tray to prevent leaching. Make sure it has a solid lid and secured ventilation grates to keep out rodents, insects, and rain.
Handling of the Liquid Waste
Handling of the Liquid Waste
The integrated urine container is easy to remove and carry, allowing for convenient and flexible waste handling. Most users empty the container into a standard toilet, a designated greywater system, or an appropriate outdoor disposal site in accordance with local regulations.
To maintain hygiene and prevent odors, it's important to rinse the container with water after each emptying. Additionally, we recommend rinsing the container once every two weeks with a 50/50 water and vinegar mix to help break down residue and eliminate any lingering smells.
If you're stationary and wish to dispose of it outdoors, always follow local waste management and greywater guidelines to ensure safe and responsible disposal.
