FAQ Pee
Can Pee be used during winter?
Yes, it can. To avoid ice blockages during winter use, insulate the urine drain hose and/or increase the pipe diameter to ร50โ75 mm. If necessary, supplement with a heating cable.
Otherwise, it is also possible to keep ice away with a small amount of methylated spirit.
What should I do if the valve in Pee has frozen and broken?
If the valve has frozen and broken, it is available to purchase on our website: Solenoid Valve Pee (Item no. 11874-01).
To prevent the valve from freezing and breaking, we recommend disconnecting the water connection from Pee during winter and โblowingโ into the connection on the back of the toilet. This ensures that the valve is emptied of water.
What should I consider before winter storage of Pee 1000 with power and water flushing?
When the urine toilet is not used during the winter season, the entire system must be completely emptied of liquid. Otherwise, there is a risk that the solenoid valve may freeze and break.
Follow these steps:
Disconnect the water supply. Press the flush button until no more water comes out. Then hold down the flush button and blow compressed air into the solenoid valve to make sure that the system is completely empty of water.
