Separett Uno is a compact, non urine diverting waterless toilet designed for night-time, backup, and occasional use. It offers simple, hygienic functionality without installation, making it practical for cabins, guest spaces, vans, and emergency situations. With a clean design and easy handling, Uno provides reliable comfort whenever a full bathroom isn’t available.

    Waste from Separett Uno is not separated and it will need a bulking material to keep the waste dry and to reduce odors and to speed up an eventual composting process. Keep in mind that the waste is not composted when you empty the bucket. Human waste should be composted for at least 6 months, preferably 12 months, to ensure pathogens are eliminated. Mixing garden waste, kitchen scraps, and toilet waste helps speed up the process and improve the result. A good rule of thumb is to plan for at least 30 gallons (110 liters) per user, using two containers so one can rest while the other is in use.

    Always use a sealed bin or a container with a collection tray to prevent leaching. Make sure it has a solid lid and secured ventilation grates to keep out rodents, insects, and rain.

    No need for an agitator

    Many composting toilet models on the market include an agitator. However, effective composting requires significantly more volume and higher temperatures than what these compact toilets provide, making an agitator unnecessary in units of this size.

    Agitators also introduce components that come into direct contact with waste, making them harder to clean and increasing the risk of mechanical failure.

    Separett Uno is easy to use and built with a fail-proof design that requires only basic handling. Simply use it as needed, and when the container is full, remove the bag and replace it with a new one. The compact, waterless function makes it practical for night-time use, guest spaces, cabins, and emergency situations.

    The lack of ventilation and separation will cause odors, which can be markably reduced by using a bulking material such as hemp, sawdust, coco coir or such.

  • Installation

    Separett Uno is fully portable and it can be used where ever. Just place the bag and place the seat ring on top of it and the toilet is ready to use.

    This toilet can't be attached to a surface so consider adding a floor standing or a wall hung support in case users need extra support.
