Service terms Finland

In order for the incinerating toilet to function optimally, it needs regular service. On the newer models of incinerating toilets, the panel indicates a reminder that it may be time for service.

You can book service either by contacting an authorized servicepartner directly or book service through our website service booking. Please note that you need to fill in the service booking form if you wish to perform a Basic service to your toilet at Caverion. After your request has been sent, the servicepartner will contact you and you can then jointly agree on a suitable time.

Separett's recommended price for a Basic service is 349 € incl. VAT but there may be variations. Other spare parts will be charged according to the service price list. Servicepartner will contact the customer for approval if additonal details need to be changed so the price exceeds over agreed price.

Basic service (349 €) includes the following:

  •          Replacement of element (Element included - recommended price 189 €)
  •          Cleaning / checking the thermal sensor  
  •          Catalyst cleaning / control
  •          Cleaning / checking the fan
  •          Cleaning the smokepipe
  •          Checking the flush mechanism. Cleaning and adjustment if necessary.
  •          General inspection of the toilet
  •          General cleaning inside / outside the toilet
  •          The control card is updated with the latest software (if possible)
  •          Resetting service in the service menu
  •          The toilet is tested to ensure that it achieves good incineration

Element is included, If necessary, there is a cost for additional material change. The costs will be according to the service price list. For parts that are replaced during service, Separett provides a 6-month material warranty from the service date.

 

Service locations

Separett recommends to do service and reparations only at authorized partners who are trained by Separett. Service partners and selected Caverion locations have been trained by Separett. Choose the servicepartner that is closest to you (or the toilet) for the smoothest case.

The cost for freight or service done at the installation location vary. You can also self deliver the toilet to service at all servicepartners.

You will be contacted with a quotation if you select service at the installation location or freight as delivery method.

NOTE! On-site service is a service that will be charged extra. Service partners will decide the price and availability of the service for each case. Ask for a quotation and availibility directly from our service partners.

On our web-site you can choose between options below:

  •          Drop-off – you are responsible for handing in the toilet to our partner's workshop
  •          Shipping to Service partner – Separett will order a freight for your toilet and the logistics provider will contact you with details about pick-up and delivery. You should protect your toilet for the shipping with cardboard for example. You can also contact availability and the price of packing material from Separett (delivery time 2–4 days).
    • NOTE! Freight will cost extra for Basic service and for reparations outside warranty. Price of the freight varies according to your locations but usually it is 40 €/way.
    • NOTE! The shipping service is available for all Caverion locations. Service partners: ask the availability and price from the Service partner directly.
  •          On-site service – Other service locations except Caverion locations are offering to perform service / repair on site where the toilet is installed for a fee. Ask the availability and a quotation directly from the Service partner.
    • NOTE! On-site service is not available for reparations under warranty.
    • NOTE! On-site service has extra costs and the Service partners can decide of the availabilty depending on the situation. Ask for quotation and availability directly from the Service partner.

Things to keep in mind when visiting Servicepartner

 

NOTE! Don´t forget to empty the ashtray and roughly clean the toilet. A NON-cleaned toilet, will be charged a cleaning fee of 100€.

Don´t forget opportunity to buy accessories such as bags, bag holders and heating seats(not available from Caverion locations). You can also buy accessories from our webshop 24/7!
